The Salzburg Piano Trio

|
Austria and Australia - Welcome to the Salzburg Piano Trio!
Alfred Hill and Johannes Brahms Australia and Europe like the members of the Salzburg Piano Trio had to overcome thousands of kilometers on their way to their newest CD in order to find each other finally in Salzburg.
Scott (Violin) originally comes from Australia while Angelika (Piano) and Caroline (Cello) are from Austria. Together the three decided to cultivate the mainstream trio repertoire but also to feature unknown works, like the world premiere and first release of Alfred Hill’s trio in A Minor.
Concerts in Austria, Germany, Italy and Singapore reveal the Trio’s ambition to present international music for an international audience. Based upon this idea, the repertoire of the Salzburg Piano Trio includes “traditional” European chamber music as well as interesting works from composers such as Werner Pirchner, Charles Ives and Alfred Hill to name but a few.
Further CD-productions are being planned the trio’s website www.SalzburgPianoTrio.com will keep you up-to-date on latest news and concert dates.
